Mining in Vietnam
Vietnam due to its political
history, has had little Western involvement in mining exploration.
As the political climate changed during the 1990s, key developments,
including the 1996 New Mining Law encouraged mineral investment. Tiberon
Minerals Limited, a Canadian mining company has developed the Nui Phao
deposit, key evidence of the change in perception of Western investment
and the potential of exploration success.
