Ian Roderick Gowrie-Smith (Chairman, Non Executive Director)
Ian has been founder and developer of mining and pharmaceutical public companies over the past 30 years. He is the founder and presently Executive Chairman of SkyePharma plc a UK domiciled drug delivery company, which currently has a market capitalisation of approximately £470 million. Prior to establishing SkyePharma, Ian was founder and Managing Director of Medeva plc and Griffiths Bros. Limited, which listed TiO2 Corporation, a company responsible for the largest illmenite deposit in Western Australia.
Geoff Walsh (Chief Executive)
Geoff holds an MBA from Cranfield and from 1990 to 1995 worked for Lonrho plc in the FSU focused projects team. During his time at Lonrho, Geoff worked closely with the Lonrho/Gencor Joint Venture focusing on the identification, negotiation and development of CIS gold resources. After Lonrho, Geoff co-founded Resource Management and Finance Company Limited, working with Junior exploration companies providing strategic advice.
Peter Trevor Wright (Finance Director)
Peter Wright holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Economics from the University of Cape Town. Prior to joining Triple Plate he acted as a consultant on audit, accountancy and corporate finance matters for a number of AIM listed companies.
Bill Howell (Exploration Director)
Bill read Geology at Southampton University and has more than 35 years experience in all aspects of exploration management and mineral project evaluation. He has held senior management positions within BHP (now BHP Billiton) and Normandy Mining,now part of Newmont Mining Corporation.
Bill has managed and led teams of a number projects including the recent major (+5 million ounce) gold discovery at Martabe, Indonesia.
David Lees (Non-Executive Director)
David is a chartered accountant, qualifying at KPMG, he has extensive
experience in the management and promotion of public companies having raised hundreds of millions of pounds as co founder with Ian Gowrie-Smith of Grifiths Bros, Medeva PLC, and SkyePharma PLC, and is, together with his role in Triple Plate Junction PLC, currently Chairman of Deal Group Media PLC, Xecutive Research Group PLC, Metis PLC, Network Estates Limited and NamesCo Limited.
James Bunyan (Non-Executive Director)
James holds an MBA from the University of Warwick, UK. He specialises in corporate development with international business development experience across a broad range of industrial and commercial sectors, including five years as a director of Tiberon Minerals Limited developing the Nui Phao deposit in Vietnam. James is also a director of Alhambra Resources Limited and Madison Energy Limited.
