Wamum
TPJ's wholly owned Wamum (Kainantu) exploration licence EL 1369 covers an area of 2,493 km2 in the Eastern Highlands and Morobe Provinces . The EL extends between the Kainantu group of licences , held by Highlands Pacific Limited, who are currently constructing the Kainantu Gold Mine (+1 Moz resource), and the Wafi Licence (+6 Moz resource), where the Wafi deposit is currently under development. Previously drilled defined prospects such as Mt Wamum with a resource of 45Mt @ 0.30% Cu & 0.12 g/t Au as well as previous gold mines at Mt Victor are enticing advanced exploration targets. A systematic compilation of all existing geophysical, geochemical as well as interpretation of Landsat have generated a number of other exciting new target areas.
An orientation stream sediment sampling program has been planned and will be carried out in August. Logistical planning is in the advanced stages to follow up these exciting target areas.
